Profile

Khaled El Bedri is a technology executive and cloud transformation leader with over two decades of experience spanning cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, open-source technologies, and enterprise architecture. He currently serves as Director of Cloud Solutions Architecture at Microsoft, leading teams responsible for helping strategic customers accelerate cloud and AI adoption while balancing security, compliance, resilience, and operational excellence.

Throughout his career, Khaled has worked at the forefront of major technology shifts, including cloud computing, open-source adoption, digital platforms, and most recently generative AI. Prior to Microsoft, he held senior architecture and leadership positions at Amazon Web Services and Red Hat, where he advised some of the world's largest organisations on cloud strategy, platform modernization, and mission-critical infrastructure.

His experience spans highly regulated sectors including government, financial services, energy, telecommunications, and large enterprise organisations across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Having led and contributed to large-scale cloud migration and modernization programmes, Khaled brings practical insight into how nations and businesses can translate ambitious AI strategies into trusted digital platforms.

As a panel speaker on "Sovereign, Sustainable, Secure: Cloud Infrastructure for The Gulf's AI Economy," Khaled will share perspectives on the evolving role of hyperscale cloud providers in enabling sovereign AI, supporting national digital transformation agendas, strengthening cyber resilience, and building sustainable cloud infrastructure capable of powering the Gulf's rapidly growing AI ecosystem.
